Living Significantly in Business: 2017-2018 Corporate Social Responsibility Symposium

Date/Time:
Wed. Feb 14, 2018 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Location:
Knott Auditorium
Details:

What does it take to live significantly? There has to be meaning, purpose in life - your life - and you have to know how to see it and live it in your world, your place. The Mount education begins with a commitment to meaning in human life generally. Here we extend it to your future specifically: the vocation of business. This forum will help you develop a vision of living significantly by richer understanding of the good that business does.

Robert Kennedy is one of the world's leading thinkers on Christian perspectives on business. Professor of Catholic studies at the University of St. Thomas, Kennedy was instrumental in developing UST's Ryan Center to world leadership in Catholic perspectives on business and economics, including helping the Vatican organize international conferences on faith and management and write the document The Vocation of the Business Leader. He is the author of numerous books and essays on ethics and business, including The Good that Business Does
