    • Indoor Cycling Time: 5:30p - 6:30p Location: Knott ARCC-Spin Studio Details:

      Instructors will guide you through several workout phases including warm-up, steady up-tempo cadences, sprints, climbs, and cool-downs. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. All you'll need is workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face), a water bottle and lots of positive energy.

    • Days of Remembrance Recital with The American Virtuosi Time: 7:00p - 8:30p Location: Knott Auditorium Details:

      The Visual and Performing Arts Department at Mount Saint Mary's University will host a recital by acclaimed Lithuanian violinist Borisas Traubas, with the Maryland-based American Virtuosi (Borowsky Family). The program will feature Lithuanian and Jewish music in commemoration of "Days of Remembrance," an annual eight-day Holocaust memorial period established by U.S. Congress. Traubas is an active champion of Jewish culture in Lithuania: he is founder of the ensembles Jerusalem of Lithuania and The Baltica Trio, presenting Jewish music on programs throughout Europe, and he has recorded the soundtracks for two Holocaust-themed movies. As principal violinist and assistant to the conductor of the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra for over forty years, Traubas has performed renowned musicians including Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovich, Timofei Dokshizer, Gidon Kremer, and David Geringas. This event is part of a two-week U.S. concert tour. The Borowsky family’s spirited quintet (internationally known as “The American Virtuosi”) composes and performs lively music inspired by their cohesive, loving family bond as well as their deep passion for melodies, harmonies and for celebrating the world’s diverse, vibrant cultural colors. Parents Cecylia (cello), Charles (voice, harmonica) and their grown children Frances (cello), Elizabeth (piano) and Emmanuel (violin) demonstrate their philosophy that music stimulates thinking, feeling and creativity and can act as a true catalyst for human growth and development. The Borowskys have extensively toured throughout the Eastern and Western world, cmost recently Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Jordan, Israel, Indonesia, Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, and Cuba.

       
       
       
    • RIP Time: 7:10p - 8:10p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      A barbell workout that incorporates functional strength training by using weights and bodyweight in every movement plane.  The safe, motivating exercises and great music create a thrilling results-based fitness class experience.
