Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE)
Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) Major
The PPE major is a sequence of courses in the disciplines of philosophy, theology, political science, economics and mathematics. The major also includes a senior research capstone course and an internship. Students are required to take a total of 40 credit hours distributed as follows:
ECON 101, 102, 403
PSCI 349 or ECON 205
PSCI 200, 207 and/or 210*
MATH 105 or BUS 320
PPE 200 Justice Seminar
PPE 300 Liberalism
PPE 498 Research and Analysis Seminar
9 credits in electives
PPE 480 Internship**
Students should speak to an academic advisor in the department for specific requirements
*Choose 2 of these 3 introductory courses in political science.
**3-6 credit hour internship required. Director approval needed for internship.
