Graduate Certificate in Technology Facilitation

The graduate certificate in Technology Facilitation enables students to communicate effectively about technology practices in education and industry settings. Students consider both existing and emerging methods of technology training to include best practice, research, culturally responsive education and legislation. The program examines ethical considerations for how technology influences teaching, learning and daily life.

Certificate credit hours may be counted toward earning a Master of Education in Technology Facilitation.

Individuals wishing to apply for admission into the Certificate in Technology Facilitation program must submit the following:

Program Details

The certificate program consists of 15 graduate credit hours (5 courses) focused on preparing individuals in schools and businesses to serve as technology facilitators. All classes meet at the Frederick Campus in hybrid format.

Applications are accepted year-round. Entry points for enrollment are offered in the spring, summer and fall.

While the majority of our students choose to earn a post baccalaureate certificate in addition to a graduate degree, some opt for a stand alone certificate program.
