Praxis and Certification Information

Please Note: New Praxis Requirements
Effective September 1, 2014, the Core Academic Skills for Educators (CORE) replaces Praxis I: PreProfessional Skills Tests (PPST/CPPST). The CORE assessments measure academic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics and were designed to provide comprehensive assessments that measure the skills and content knowledge of candidates entering teacher preparation programs. The link below provides the test codes, names and qualifying scores for Praxis CORE. Note: Effective immediately, candidates must earn qualifying scores on all three tests. There is no longer a composite score option.
