Peer Tutor Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Peer Tutor in Mount St. Mary’s Learning Services. On the Peer Tutor Application, you will find an explanation of the requirements for the Peer Tutor position and the process required for consideration as a Peer Tutor.
Please return the completed application (with signatures) to Kristin M. Sites, Assistant Director of Learning Services, in Archbishop Borders Hall. You will then need to schedule an interview with Mrs. Sites. After you have completed the Peer Tutor Application and interview process, you will be informed by Mrs. Sites as to whether or not you have been selected as a peer tutor and for which courses.
There is no deadline to apply to be a Peer Tutor. Tutors are hired on a rolling, as needed basis. If you are considered a qualifed tutor applicant but there is not currently a need for a new tutor in the subject(s) for which you are applying to tutor, Ms. Sites will inform you of this. In this case, your application may be held until there is a need for another tutor in that subject area.
