Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Primary Job Responsibilities

Mount Saint Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland is accepting applications for the position of assistant strength and conditioning coach. Primary job responsibilities will include the design, implementation, evaluation, and scheduling of sport specific strength and conditioning programs for all assigned intercollegiate teams, and other duties as assigned by the head strength and conditioning coach.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required;

  • Must have a nationally accredited certification (CSCCa or NSCA); as well as CPR, AED and first aid certification;

  • Have one to three years of related work experience at the collegiate level;

  • Be proficient in the instruction, assessment, evaluation, and supervision of a broad range of training systems and sport applications;

  • Must have a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively and work well with students-athletes, coaches, and staff;

  • Possess a commitment to high academic standards for student-athletes and their ability to succeed both academically and athletically.
