Associate Director of Admissions Technology

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsible to the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director of Admissions Technology manages all aspects of Admissions CRM (Slate).  This includes managing day to day processing, creating reports, and coordinating CRM communications and events functionality.  The Associate Director will also work closely with Information Technology to identify and manage projects to increase efficiencies in the technology process.  Both roles require strong leadership, communication, and teamwork.  This position will be a lead in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new CRM system (Slate) as well as managing other Admissions technology contracts and programs.  Additionally, the Associate Director of Admissions Technology may be asked to assist in 1) promoting the University through college fairs, and programs held on campus; 2) reviewing applications as part of a holistic, rolling selection process; 3) sit on intra-office committees to advocate for the Admissions office.  The schedule includes occasional weekends and evenings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Some of the major responsibilities include:
  2. Manage Admissions CRM (Slate) in all areas.
  3. Manage Admissions intranet and portal functions, including coordinating with director of University CMS/website.
  4. Support daily processing and data management, including application procedure and manual uploads.  Look for ways to streamline, optimize and automate same.
  5. Effectively and safely share data with other campus constituencies as appropriate. Lead training on CRM for intra-campus partners.
  6. Participate in the review and evaluation of applicants for admission to the college.
  7. Along with other Admissions Officers, work as a team player to develop and implement new strategies to attract applicants.
  8. Assist other team members where applicable, including covering areas or duties not initially assigned.

Minor responsibilities may include:

  1. Assist with general administrative responsibilities for the Admissions Office.
  2. Keep current on all aspects of MSMU, especially academic, social, religious, and athletic programs and events.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The appointed individual will:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience in higher education or technology.
  • Be able to relate to and work well with a variety of people, and to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Articulate the values of a liberal arts education in the Catholic tradition.
