The Richard J. Bolte, Sr. School of Business at Mount St. Mary’s University invites outstanding teacher-scholars to apply for a tenure track appointment in Finance at the Assistant Professor level starting in the fall of 2014. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline (ABDs near completion will be considered) and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service to the campus community. He/she will teach Corporate Finance in the undergraduate business program, Financial Analysis in the MBA program, and other finance electives as needed. The Bolte School is dedicated to providing graduates with a solid foundation in analysis and ethical decision-making using a variety of interactive techniques such as cases, simulations, and other experiential learning activities. The faculty member may also contribute to the Mount’s common education experience by teaching the Veritas Symposium (Veritas 101 - Being Human: The Catholic Liberal Arts Symposium). Successful candidates will share our commitment to the dignity and solidarity of all persons and the value of intercultural understanding.
