Office of University Marketing - Work Study Student (2-Work Study Positions)

Job Title: Office of University Marketing - Writing Assistant (Work Study)

Job Description: The Office of University Marketing is seeking a writing assistant to help create content for and edit the Mount's various news, blog and social media channels, as well as other communications. Students with an interest in journalism, marketing and communications, along with the ability to learn AP style are highly encouraged to apply. Other office work may include filing, copying, answering phones and other duties as assigned.

Special Skills: The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and serve as brand ambassador for the Mount. Also will need to be organized, reliable, punctual, and have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Experience in social media work for an organization is a bonus.

Other Job Requirements: While most work will occur during the hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m., some assignments may require evenings and/or weekends.

Job Title: Office of University Marketing - Photography Assistant (Work Study)

Job Description: The Office of University Marketing is seeking a photography assistant to help with photographing many campus and athletic events, along with assisting in managing the Mount's digital photo assets. Students with familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) along with an interest in marketing, communications and visual arts are highly encouraged to apply. Other office work may include filing, copying, answering phones and other duties as assigned.

Special Skills: The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and serve as brand ambassador for the Mount. Also will need to be organized, reliable, punctual, and have good communication skills and strong attention to detail. Experience with videography is a bonus.
