Pauline Engelstätter

As Vice President for University Affairs, Pauline Engelstätter oversees the management of the President’s Office, serves as the Recording Secretary for the Board of Trustees, and as a Title IX Coordinator for the University. She serves as the chief liaison between the President and the many constituencies of the university, including the Trustees, President’s Council, executive officers, faculty, administration, staff, students and the general public.

A highly experienced professional, she has served the Mount St. Mary’s University community for over 30 years with expertise in human resource management and logistics. Engelstätter is responsible for providing leadership in the areas of special events, institutional research and presidential initiatives.

Engelstätter has held several professional affiliations including past president of the Baltimore Chapter of the College & University Personnel Association, membership in the Association of Governing Boards and is the recipient of the 2004 Mentor Award from the South-Central Pennsylvania Human Resources Symposium in addition to her volunteer work within her parish and community.

She received an Honorary Degree from Mount St. Mary’s in May, 2007 and received the Archdiocese of Baltimore's Medal of Honor in 2006. The Archdiocesan Medal of Honor is awarded to men and women in the Archdiocese of Baltimore in recognition of their outstanding service to the Archdiocese and their respective parishes.

She resides in nearby Fairfield, Pa. with her husband, Harald, and their three children.
