Seton Visit Grant
Accepted fall 2017 freshmen and transfer students who reside outside a 100-mile radius from Mount St. Mary's University and who visit campus for an admissions-sponsored program or an appointment with an admissions representative enjoy a special benefit. As a leading Catholic institution of higher education, the Mount recognizes that the following two elements of the application process are essential for students and their families: visiting campus and college affordability. The Seton Grant is named in honor of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, the first American-born Saint, one of the first visitors to the Mount in the early 1800s.
This one-time award is valued at $1,000 and will be distributed during the student's first year. This grant requires full-time enrollment and is non-renewable.

$1,000 Seton Grant Requirements
- Make an official visit (Admissions recruitment event or daily tour) between August 22, 2016 and April 28, 2017. Visitors must pre-register or register on-site with the Admissions Office in order to be eligible for the grant.
- Live outside a 100-mile radius from the Mount. Distance is verified by zip code listed on the application.
- Be accepted to the university.
- Submit your enrollment deposit by May 1, 2017.
Please Note: Enrolling students receiving an employee benefit, tuition remission, or scholarships equaling or exceeding the cost of tuition are not eligible.
