Third Century Scholarship
The Third Century Scholars Program assists low-income, underrepresented students from the Washington, D.C. metro area to obtain a college degree. The program provides strong financial assistance, as well as mentoring and social support, to help students succeed in earning a bachelor’s degree at MSMU.
Through generous support of alumni and friends,
MSMU is offering financial support to three freshman joining the Mount family in the fall of 2015.
Third Century Scholars are guaranteed to have their tuition, room, board, and fees paid in full, plus they will receive a $1,000 stipend towards the cost of books. After their federal entitlements are credited to their account, students will receive a Third Century Scholarship and a Mount St. Mary's Presidential Scholarship to cover the remaining of their institutional costs. In addition, students will have the opportunity for on-campus employment to earn additional funds to be used at their discretion.
