Founder's Scholarship Competition

Founder's Scholarship Competition

Sun. Jan 22, 2017 9:00am - 2:00pm (Recurring)
Patriot Hall, McGowan Center

Registration for this event is now closed.

The Founder's Scholarship is an on-campus essay competition that gives eligible students the opportunity to contend for one of two full-tuition scholarships. Students who meet certain academic criteria (3.5 or above GPA and 1220 or greater SAT or 25 or higher ACT) will be sent an invitation after all application materials are received and the students have been accepted into the Honors Program. We strongly encourage students who believe they are eligible to send application materials in the fall of their senior year. The day includes breakfast with different Mount community members, the exam for students and various information sessions for parents, a student-led campus tour, and an opportunity to learn more about the Mount's Honors Program. Registration begins at 9 a.m. To register, please contact the Admissions Office or refer to the instructions in the student's invitation.
