For almost 100 years, Mount students have participated in the Ring Tradition, an experience that extends generations into both the past and future. Alumni proudly wear their rings as an outward symbol of their time at the Mount, their accomplishments, their memories and their Mountaineer pride.
The tradition begins every year in the fall, when the class ring is revealed and the junior class places orders. Students are then presented with these timeless symbols during a full Catholic mass, where the rings are blessed in the presence of family, friends and the Mount Community. That same evening, the junior class holds a Ring Dance to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Order Rings Online
Rings can be purchased online at www.balfour.com simply by searching for “Mount St. Mary’s University” and selecting “Class of 2016” in the “Rings” section. Representatives from Balfour will also be on campus for sizing and ordering assistance on various dates.
Rings must be purchased by September 13 to ensure their delivery for the Junior Class Ring Mass.
