Graduates and Commencement Assistants

Check-out Expectations

Graduating Seniors do not have to apply for May Extended Stay, due to their involvement with Baccalaureate and Commencement activities. Any Graduates who would prefer to complete their residence hall check-out process and not remain on campus during Commencement weekend are welcome to schedule a time with their RA to complete their check-out during final exam week.

Commencement Assistants:

All students who will be assisting with Commencement weekend (not simply attending the events) must complete the May Extended Stay request to stay past 4pm. on Friday, May 11, 2018. Students who do not fill out this form by the May 7 deadline will not be approved to stay on campus past May 11 at 4 p.m.

Move-out Procedures

On Sunday, May 13, 2018 by 6 p.m. all graduating seniors and commencement assistants must be completely moved out of their rooms/apartments.

All other check-out policies apply. Any personal items left in student residences will be discarded and may result in an Improper Check-out charge (see FAQs section for more details). The furniture in all rooms must be reassembled, if necessary, and rearranged back to the original layout when students moved into the space at the beginning of the academic year.
