Institute for Leadership Opportunities
The Institute for Leadership strives to provide opportunities for all students at Mount St. Mary's University in order to strengthen their leadership skills. No matter where you are in your leadership journey, we are here to support you, connect you to resources and programs on campus, and to offer leadership development opportunities through our own Institute programs and collaborations across campus.
The Emerging Leaders Series
The Emerging Leaders Series is a 7-week leadership certification program that strives to provide Mount St. Mary's students with the tools that they need to become successful student leaders.
The Emerging Leaders Series will be held on Wednesdays, starting in September 2015. (more details coming soon)

Mount St. Mary’s University, along with over 40 other college and universities, celebrates Constitution Day in conjunction with The Jack Miller Center Constitution Day Initiative to help strengthen the awareness of the need for education in the American Constitutional tradition.
The program offers students a unique opportunity to engage in a civil discussion of the fundamental questions animating a free society with some of our nation’s leading scholars, jurists and officials.

Leadership Development Workshops
The Institute for Leadership will be offering Leadership Development workshops for all students at Mount St. Mary's University. These workshops will fall into one of three categories:
Self (personal leadership development and skills)
organizational (how to face student organization challenges, training for student org officers,)
Veritas Portfolio development (eFolio creating, meeting the requirements, informational sessions, etc).
