Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

Successful human services professionals require a deep understanding of people and a highly ethical foundation. At the Mount, the human services program draws from sociology, psychology, education and business to prepare you for a meaningful career improving the lives of others.

Making it easy to go back to school

The Division of Continuing Studies strives to make it easy for adults to go back to school on a part-time basis, holding classes in the evening one to two nights per week at our convenient Frederick campus. It's important to us that you feel supported, can maintain your work-life balance, and have access to all of the resources you need to be a successful student.

Our faculty and advisors are here to work one-on-one with you to develop your degree plan, and to help keep you on track to finish your degree. We make the traditional college resources available to you to aid in your success, such as our Career Center, Writing Center, Library and Learning Services Office, just to name a few.
