The Mount offers well-respected graduate programs in a convenient flexible format for working adults. Courses are held both online and in person in the evening at our Frederick campus and several are held at the main campus in Emmitsburg. Courses are typically offered in 5-, 7- or 8-week sessions, instead of the traditional 15-week semesters allowing you to finish your program faster.

Mount St. Mary’s University offers graduate assistantships to provide an opportunity for graduate students to further their knowledge in both academic and professional fields through involvement in different areas of the university. Graduate assistants receive an annual stipend and tuition remission in compensation for their service to the university. The graduate assistantship application is by invitation only for students who have been admitted into a graduate degree program.
