Office of Advising

The Office of Advising at the Mount is dedicated to empowering student success through a hybrid advising model. Through this collaborative model, the office works to support Mount students in academic intervention, navigating university and federal policies, and guiding students in the mechanics of higher education success.

The Office of Advising bridges the strengths of faculty mentorship with the specialized support of Pro Advisors as they work closely with the Bolte School of Business, College of Liberal Arts, School of Education, School of Science, Math and Technology, and Exploratory Studies. Each first-year student is assigned a dedicated pro advisor connected to their major who partners with faculty to maintain strong mentoring relationships, while providing structured support to our students.

The Office of Advising Offers

Academic support, pro advising meetings, resource connection, university policy navigation, and support with academic compliance standards.

Student-Athlete Advising

The Student-Athlete Advising Office is designed to assist NCAA Division I student-athletes as they transition from high school to college. It serves as a bridge between the academic side of campus and athletic side of campus to get student-athletes connected to necessary resources. All new students are required to meet with their advisor regularly. The office offers support related to time management, organization and study skills. Your athletic academic advisor can help you sign up for peer tutoring, visit the writing center, or set up a meeting with your professor during office hours. Our goal is to graduate student-athletes in four years and help our student-athletes maintain a GPA of a 3.0 or above.

Student-Athlete Advising Offers

Student-Athlete Support, Time Management Skills, Regular Check In Meetings and Study Hall.
