Mountrepreneur Club

Our Mission

The Mountrepreneur Club at Mount St. Mary's University exists to promote and support active student engagement in entrepreneurial networking and learning activities, on campus and beyond.

The club works in collaboration with the Palmieri Center for Entrepreneurship in encouraging and helping students from all disciplines at the Mount to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and approach to their chosen field.

We do this by:

• Inviting Mount alumni and local entrepreneurs to our meetings to share their knowledge and experience in various social enterprise, corporate entrepreneurship, nonprofit and new business development and even entrepreneurial activities in the government sector.
• Supporting an annual Big IDEA Competition, Loiello Business Pitch Competition and Student Business Showcase to encourage and support students' innovative ideas and efforts.
• Partnering with other Mount student-run organizations in order to promote entrepreneurial awareness and thinking on campus.
• Coordinating travel in the regional community for exposure to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, technical assistance providers, start-up companies and entrepreneurial networking and pitch events at other universities.
