Visit the BookstoreFirst Day® Complete, known to Mount students as Emmit's Book Pack, is a course materials fulfillment program that lowers the cost of course materials and ensures students have their required course materials on the first day of class.
Undergraduate students (accelerated / adult undergraduate, graduate and seminary students are excluded).
The program does not include consumables that cannot be returned and reused such as lab goggles, dissection kits, molecular model kids, engineering kits or nursing kits.
All eligible students will be automatically enrolled in Emmit's Book Pack.
Students may opt out of Emmit's Book Pack. An opt out link will be added to this FAQ in June. The opt out will be available well before students receive an email from the bookstore in late July requesting course confirmation.
All textbooks (hardback & softback) are considered rentals under this program and are billed as a fee for the course. These fees are applied to your final bill. When your bill is paid in full, you are paying for your rental textbooks under this program.
The program provides all required textbooks, lab manuals, access codes and digital textbook versions to eligible students.
Yes, the program provides you with the option to purchase textbooks at a reduced rate during the return period.
Yes, you will still be required to return continuation course textbooks. You will be issued the same title for the next semester of the continuation course.
In the event a student does not return rental materials, Barnes & Noble College reserves the right to require student payment of an appropriate rental replacement fee (75% of the new course material selling price) and/or identify the student ineligible for the Complete Program in future semesters.
The deadline to return all rental textbooks is the last day of finals. Students will receive email reminders about the rental deadline to their email address.
