Orientation Schedule 

Transfer Orientation will be on Wednesday, January 9th in the Phillips Library.  Please remember to bring your completed health forms and a government issued ID for your Mount ID card photo.

9:00-9:30am: Check-In (Philips Library)

9:30-9:40am: Opening Welcome

9:45-10:30am: Department Meetings

10:35-11:30am: The Mount “How To” General Session (student session and parent session)

11:30-11:45am: Break

11:45am-1:00pm: Lunch with current students (O’Hara Dining Room)

1:00pm:  Info Session for First-Year Students  

1:00pm: Optional Campus Visits

Transfer Orientation Next Steps

  1. Confirm Your Major
    Be sure to email Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Mary Catherine James  or call 800-448-4347 to confirm your intended major at the Mount. 

  2. Prepare Required Health Forms
    Please print and bring completed health forms to Orientation. See required health forms > 

  3. Confirm Final Transcripts
    Confirm that your final transcripts from all previously attended post-secondary institutions have been sent to the Mount. Contact the Registrar's Office for more information. 

  4. Apply for On-Campus Housing (resident students only)
    Students wishing to live on campus can apply for on-campus housing by contacting Residence Life.
