Emmit's Street Eats will remain closed this week due to the extreme cold temperatures. We look forward to reopening Monday, February 2
Join us for one of the Mount's most popular student events! BINGO is a game of chance in which players mark off numbers on cards as the numbers are drawn randomly by a caller, the winner being the first person to mark off five numbers in a row. If you are a lucky winner, you may receive one of our awesome prizes! This event is open to all students and is free to play. No pre-registration is required for this event (Mount ID required for check-in purposes). If you have any questions about this event, please email studentengagement@msmary.edu.
The Center for Student Engagement has purchased passes for students to enjoy a fun evening of snow tubing at Liberty Mountain Resort (Bubly Tube Park) in Fairfield, PA. A registration fee of $10.00 is required for this event, which covers student admission and two (2) hours of snow tubing. Pre-registration is required for this event. This event is for Mount students only and the number of available passes for students is limited; students will be able to register on a first-come, first-served basis. Information about registration can be found on Mount P.E.A.K. If you have any questions about this event, please email studentengagement@msmary.edu.
The Mount’s Marketing and Communications team are planning student video shoots similar to this video next Tuesday and Thursday (February 3 and 5) and are currently collecting from students who want to participate. The department asks any interested students to complete this form to help us gauge interest and follow up as schedules are finalized, but submissions do not guarantee a filming slot. We’re aiming to select 12–15 students to be featured in individual profile videos, and selected participants will receive a $50 Visa gift card as a thank you.
The Office for Health Professions is excited to be hosting an application webinar for those planning on applying to graduate programs where a committee letter is not required. This includes PA, PT/OT, AT, Nursing, Veterinary programs, and more. We will discuss prerequisites and present a timeline for the application process. While we strongly encourage those who are applying in 2026 to register, all are welcome to join and learn about the process! The webinar will be held on Zoom. To receive more information please RSVP.
Bring out your recyclables! Beginning today, January 29, the Center for Service & Justice’s Common Good Initiative, Mount Recycling, will be collecting discarded recyclables from the Terrace, Pangborn, and Powell halls. Collection will take place in the lounges* every Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m.
*Whether all three halls will be collected from will depend on weather conditions and volunteer coverage. If you are interested in volunteering to support these efforts, please email cfs@msmary.edu.
