Now is the time to complete your FAFSA for 2026-2027! If you are returning to the Mount next year (26-27) you may complete the FAFSA for 2026-2027 by logging into studentaid.gov with your FSA ID. Be sure that Mount St. Mary’s University school code 002086 is listed on your FAFSA. FAFSA’s take three days to process before we will receive the information. Only one person needs to start the FAFSA, and as a part of the process will invite the other to be a contributor. When the other contributor receives the invitation, they can then complete their part. Once your FAFSA is processed, the student will receive an email letting them know that the information has been sent to the schools listed and that they can view the FAFSA submission summary by logging onto studentaid.gov.
For Maryland state aid, the FAFSA must be submitted prior to March 1, 2026, for a review for state aid by Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC and MD CAPS). If you need help completing your FAFSA you can make an appointment with the Financial Aid Office located in Bradley Hall room 111; email financialaid@msmary.edu; 301-447-5207.
