Celebrate the first day of spring with a sweet treat! Stop by the PAC to enjoy a free Rita’s Italian Ice while supplies last. Bring your friends, enjoy the start of warmer weather, and take a moment to celebrate happiness with us. This event is free and open to all students—just come by and grab a cup before they’re gone!
The Center for Student Engagement is hosting a free movie screening of Project Hail Mary exclusively for Mount students at R/C Gateway Theater in Gettysburg, PA. Mount Mania will take place on campus on Sunday, March 22 at the ARCC. We look forward to welcoming over 1,500 guests to campus as they explore all that the Mount has to offer and solidify their decision to join our community.
With this significant number of visitors, we anticipate increased vehicle traffic on campus. To ensure the event runs smoothly, we are providing parking guidance for all campus community members:
Thank you for your cooperation in making Mount Mania a welcoming and successful event for prospective students and their families.
Need to make it to the grocery store or pharmacy, or want to have lunch out with friends? Want to shop at a huge Goodwill? Don’t have a car or want to save your gas? Hop on a shuttle to shop, dine, and have fun with friends!
Shuttles this semester will rotate weekly between Gettysburg and Thurmont. This Sunday’s shuttle is heading to Thurmont. Shuttles run continuously from noon – 5 p.m. to the Weis Markets in Thurmont. Last shuttle leaves the Mount at 4 p.m. Students can pick-up the shuttle at the John Paul Plaza outside of McGowan Center.
Shops in Thurmont include Weis Markets, Goodwill, Los Amigos, Simple Asia, Dunkin’, Verizon, Mountain Gate, Roy Rogers, and more.
The Recreation & Wellness Department is enlisting help from Mount students and employees to help the department grow and thrive for years to come. In order for us to do that, we need feedback from the campus community. We have created a satisfaction survey that covers areas of the department, such as operations, intramurals, outdoor adventures, etc. The last day to complete the survey is March 23. Thank you in advance for your participation! Take the survey.
The American Red Cross needs your help! Come donate blood to help save another person's life. The Center for Service & Justice will be hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Delaplaine Commons (located in the Coad Science Building). Register for the blood drive.
