On Wednesday, April 8, Junior Mountaineers (middle school children) and their chaperones will be visiting campus to spend time with their Mount mentors. They have a full afternoon planned, which includes creating tie-dyed shirts at the Makers’ House, participating in a campus tour, and dining at Patriot Hall.
If you see these students during their visit, please offer them a warm Mount welcome and take a moment to engage with them. They greatly admire college students, and one of the program’s key objectives is to inspire them to remain in school and ultimately pursue higher education.
Join us in Knott Auditorium for one of the Mount's most popular student events! BINGO is a game of chance in which players mark off numbers on cards as the numbers are drawn randomly by a caller, the winner being the first person to mark off five numbers in a row. If you are a lucky winner, you may receive one of our awesome prizes! This event is open to all students and is free to play. No pre-registration is required for this event (Mount ID required for check-in purposes). If you have any questions about this event, please email studentengagement@msmary.edu.
Hope is Risen! Easter is our highest feast and greatest of solemnities-- join us to celebrate and usher in this season of rejoicing 8-11 p.m. in the PAC! Free t-shirt giveaway, live music & "local celebrity" DJ, catered apps, complimentary drinks for 21+, fire pits & s'mores, and more! Hosted by Campus Ministry & the Center for Student Engagement.
Join us for an informative virtual open house hosted by the Division of Continuing Studies at Mount St. Mary’s University. Learn about our flexible online graduate and certificate programs designed to fit your busy schedule. Our team will walk you through program options, the application process, and answer your questions about taking the next step in your education.
Please note: This session does not cover the Physician Assistant program. Prospective PA students should register for a dedicated PA information session listed separately on our events page. Register for the event.
The Entrepreneurship Club is hosting the Loiello Pitch Competition and is looking for students with business ideas, side hustles or startup concepts to participate. This is a great opportunity to pitch your idea, gain feedback from experienced professionals, and compete for over $5,000 in prizes ($7,500 total prize pool). You do not need a fully developed business—just an idea and the willingness to present it. The competition will take place on Monday, April 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Knott Academic Center, Room 327. All students must register by April 13 to participate. Once registration closes, participants will receive an email with additional details, including competition rules, how prize money will be allocated, and information about the judging panel. This is a great chance to bring your ideas to life, build confidence presenting, and potentially win funding to support your concept. Register for the competition.
Once again, we are excited to share a shuttle to aid students in getting to BWI or Dulles (IAD) at the conclusion of the semester. Payment is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Space is first-come, first-served. All registrations must be submitted by Sunday, May 3, at 5 p.m.
