In the summer of 2025, Mount St. Mary’s University launched a new initiative to assist new students in their transition to the Mount. During the summer and their first fall semester, new students received help from Mount Guides to get engaged in what the Mount has to offer. Mount Guides received extensive training on university resources and customer service skills, planned engaging activities, assisted with checklist requirements, checked in throughout the semester to offer support, shared upcoming events, and so much more. Their support did not stop there. On many occasions, Mount Guides went above and beyond for their students.
This is your opportunity to share your stories and gratitude with your Mount Guide or another one who made an impact for you this year. Nominate a Mount Guide for the ‘Mount Guide of the Year’ award. This award, along with many others, will be presented at the Student Life Awards on Monday, April 27.
Nominations for the ‘Mount Guide of the Year' award will be open until Friday, April 10 at 11:45 p.m.
