You are warmly invited to join the Criminal Justice Student Association (CJSA) this Sunday for our annual Blue Mass Ceremony, honoring law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities. The ceremony will take place during the 11 a.m. Mass at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on the campus of Mount St. Mary’s University. Following the Mass, seniors who have majored or minored in criminal justice will be inducted into the Mount’s Order of St. Michael.
This year, CJSA is proud to recognize Mr. Wade Milyard, Police Officer (Ret.), Frederick Police Department, as the recipient of the Father Delaney Servant Leader Award. Since his retirement, Mr. Milyard has remained deeply committed to serving the community, dedicating his time to assisting individuals experiencing homelessness and those in need.
