Mount community, we'd like to hear from you about your experience with Mount Messenger. You're invited to take our 15 question survey, which will take approximately 3-5 minutes to complete. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. The survey will close on May 6. Thank you for your feedback. Take the survey.
On the weekend of May 9 and 10, we will be hosting the MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. For this event to run smoothly, we will need help from our Mount community and are seeking over 100 different volunteer positions.

Please sign up with your first and last name, cellphone number, email address and t-shirt size. While you are volunteering, you will get a lunch, a t-shirt, and a front row seat to watching Mount student-athletes compete for a conference championship! Any amount of volunteering that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated!!

The ESPN at MSMU program is recruiting students for Fall 2026 to join our live broadcast crew in both camera and studio roles. Students can earn academic credit through a three-credit internship (COMM 480) or a one-credit practicum (COMM 208), gaining hands-on experience producing Division I athletic broadcasts at Mount St. Mary's.
Only three internship positions are available, but practicum participation is open to 15 students, giving you the chance to be part of a live ESPN production team. This past spring alone, student productions earned three SportsCenter Top 10 plays. No experience is necessary, just an interest in sports media. Training is provided.
To learn more or schedule a studio visit, contact ESPN Academic Advisor Sheldon Shealer at sshealer@msmary.edu.

Attention shuttle users - this is an important survey to help better serve you! Transit Services of Frederick County is looking for public feedback from users and potential users of the Emmitsburg Thurmont Shuttle. Transit is investigating potential timing and route modifications to the shuttle to improve service and access to locations along the route, including downtown Frederick, downtown Thurmont, downtown Emmitsburg, and Mount St. Mary's University.
In order to better serve the needs of the community, Frederick County seeks public input as part of the evaluation process. Please share your thoughts by taking the survey so that the project team can make informed decisions with your input in mind.
