Join us in the PAC for a special edition of one of the Mount's most popular student events! BINGO is a game of chance in which players mark off numbers on cards as the numbers are drawn randomly by a caller, the winner being the first person to mark off five numbers in a row. If you are a lucky winner, you may receive one of our awesome LEGO prizes! This event is open to all students and is free to play. No pre-registration is required for this event (Mount ID required for check-in purposes). If you have any questions about this event, please email studentengagement@msmary.edu.
Need to make it to the grocery store or pharmacy, or want to have lunch out with friends? Want to shop at the huge GoodWill? Don't have a car or want to save your gas? Hop on a shuttle to shop, dine, and have fun with friends! Shuttles this semester will rotate weekly between Gettysburg and Thurmont. This Sunday's shuttle is heading to Thurmont. Shuttles run continuously from noon - 5 p.m. (pick-ups are approximately every 30-40 minutes) Last shuttle leaves the Mount at approximately 3:50 p.m. Students can pick-up the shuttle at the John Paul Plaza outside of McGowan Center. Shops include Weis Markets, Los Amigos, Dunkin' Donuts, McDonald's, Mountain Gate Family Restaurant, and more! Shuttles are first-come, first-served. Please bring your MountCard (physical card or digital card).
The PAC is the place to be for the first Sunday of the 2026 NFL Season! Come watch the Baltimore Ravens at the Indianapolis Colts (kick off time 1 p.m.) followed by the Washington Commanders at the Philadelphia Eagles (kick off time 4:25 p.m.). Free pizza will be provided (while supplies last). The PAC Pub will also have special open hours during the event. This event is free for Mount students (no pre-registration required; Mount ID required for check-in purposes). If you have any questions about this event, please email studentengagement@msmary.edu.
The Mount’s Office of University Marketing & Communications is currently seeking student extras to participate in a marketing video Wednesday, September 16th, at 3 possible select times. Students will not have to recite or memorize any lines and are only requested to participate in 1 to 3 staged scenes, depending on your availability (interested students do not have to participate in all 3 scenes but are more than welcomed to). The department asks any interested students to complete this form and follow up emails will be sent out accordingly.
Don't miss a rare opportunity to network with professional staff of AstraZeneca! Undergraduate seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates interested in exploring careers in business, healthcare, technology, analytics, communications, and related fields are invited to “Give Back Day” on Wed., Sept. 16, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the AstraZeneca campus in Gaithersburg. Please note that this is not a career fair. Rather, it is a professional development and career exploration day that will give students the opportunity to learn more about the pharmaceutical industry, gain practical career advice, engage with AstraZeneca professionals, and explore potential career paths. Students interested in attending must register in advance by Monday, September 14 at 5 p.m. Register for OBU University Give Back Day.
Students interested in riding in the University's van should register in Handshake. Seating is limited and on a first-come basis. The van will leave campus at 6:15 a.m. Students should meet in the Career Center, McGowan Hall, Room 240 prior to departure time. For more information, contact careercenter@msmary.edu or call (301) 447-5202.
Are you ready to grow as a leader, strengthen your impact on campus, and connect with other students who are passionate about making a difference? We invite you to join us for the 2026 Fall Leadership Summit, themed Created to Lead, inspired by our campus theme, Created, and the truth found in Ephesians 2:10:
"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Join us on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Seminary Dining Room. Whether you currently serve in a leadership role or are interested in becoming a leader on campus, this summit is designed to help you discover and develop the gifts, skills, and confidence needed to lead effectively among your peers. Registration is required. Be sure to reserve your spot today.
