The Mount community is invited to the 35th Annual Adams County Heritage Festival, Sunday, September 20, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Gettysburg Area Recreation Park. The Adams County Heritage Festival is a multicultural festival, celebrating our diverse cultural heritages through sharing food, music, and the arts. It is intended to be, as our motto says, “a celebration of unity in our community.” The festival comprises mainstage entertainment, food booths representing a variety of traditions, craft vendors and demonstrators, children’s activities, and exhibits by local non-profit agencies. Admission and parking are free. A family bicycle parade will leave from the main stage at 1 p.m. Participants should assemble on the basketball court behind the stage around 12:30 p.m.
Mount faculty, staff, and student volunteers have been a part of the festival for many years. If you are interested in volunteering during the festival, please contact Rosie Bolen at rhbolen01@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
