Center for Leadership and Community Connection

About the Center for Leadership & Community Connection

Looking to get involved, make an impact, and/or find your place at the Mount? Then look no further! The Center for Leadership & Community Connection is your go-to hub for student involvement! Whether you are interested in joining the Student Government Association (SGA), exploring student clubs and organizations, known as RSOs, or finding ways to connect with vibrant communities across campus, the Center is here to guide and support you.

More importantly, we want you to engage in your collegiate experience as it prepares you to live significantly. Mountaineers take these words to heart, challenging themselves to step outside of their comfort zones, push boundaries, and learn who they truly are. Education is not confined to the walls of a classroom. At the Mount, we know that your path to living significantly includes making meaningful connections and exploring ways to grow in all aspects of life.

So, dive into leadership opportunities, build lasting relationships, and become an active part of the Mount family- we're here to help you thrive!

How to Get Involved

Ready to meet other students and form lifelong friendships? Joining a student organization will help you meet classmates and other peers with similar hobbies and interests. Whether it's playing games, learning a new language, networking with an academic profession, or experiencing food & culture from all over the globe, there are Mounties who want to meet you and welcome you to their social circles on campus.

Block Party

Every Fall, the Center for Leadership & Community Connection & Center for Student Engagement host an involvement fair known as "Block Party." The main purpose is to showcase the many clubs and organizations on campus and to connect students with an easy way to join any club or leadership development opportunity they are interested in. Block Party is the one-stop shop for helping you find your place in the campus community.

Interested in getting involved but have questions? Contact the Center for Leadership & Community Connection, at clcc@msmary.edu to get them answered.
