About the program.

Flexibility and efficiency are the cornerstones of the MBA program at the Mount, which is designed to give you the freedom and control to balance work and school. Every aspect of the program is geared to help you earn your degree in one or two years, working in 8-week sessions, and attending courses either one night per week at our Frederick campus or completing courses offered online. While the program is designed primarily for part-time adult students who live and work in the surrounding community, full-time study is also available. The MBA program is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).

Making a difference from day one.

Because Mount MBA students are also working professionals, their studies typically have an impact on their careers from the moment they start learning. Once they’ve earned their degree, certificate or concentration, Mount MBA graduates climb to influential positions such as CEOs and CTOs, making their mark in areas like consulting and business development, and putting their skills to work for companies like:

  • KPMG
  • Wells Fargo
  • Citi
  • Merrill Lynch
  • Northrup Grumman
  • U.S. Department of Defense
  • T. Rowe Price

Certificates & Concentrations

Earning a certificate or concentration allows you to focus on general business as well as a specific area of expertise. And all credits apply to your MBA degree too. Certificates are earned by substituting three MBA core classes and two MBA electives with five certificate courses. Concentrations are earned by taking two electives in an area of study in addition to the required core courses.
