The Office of Orientation and Family Programs will support all students and families through the transition into Mount St. Mary’s academic, cultural, spiritual, and social environment to live out the university’s mission to live significantly. Through high impact educational programs during orientation, students will engage in opportunities to build belonging and learn the resources necessary to feel empowered throughout their educational journey at the Mount.

Transitioning to college can be overwhelming. Start here to have many common questions answered.
We call it Mount 101 – a two-week program for first-year students to get you acclimated to college life at the Mount. The program includes two three-credit courses, activities, field trips and more. Trust us, it’s a blast!
