Part-Time Online Graduate Degree for Working Adults

Mount St. Mary’s University offers a part-time online master’s degree in sport management. Finish your degree in 1-2 years by attending 8-week classes online one night per week.

Affordability & Financial Aid

Reduced pricing for summer graduate courses

The Mount is pleased to offer compassionate reduced pricing for all summer graduate courses in 2020. All classes will be taught online to offer flexibility while you learn.

$23,400 – Estimated total cost of program.* No additional fees.

  • Cost is based on 36 credits (12 classes) at $650 per credit
  • Students may transfer in up to nine (9) credits
  • Based on undergraduate transcript analysis, prerequisite courses may be required for an additional cost ($430 per course)
  • No application fee.

*Tuition represents 2020-21 rates, effective July 1, 2020. Tuition is subject to change without notice.

Financial Aid

Students enrolled on at least half-time basis (6-credits per semester) may qualify for financial aid. You may seek financial assistance through federal and state-funded programs, private loan providers, or deferment of undergraduate loans. The Mount also has a variety of employer tuition remission or reimbursement agreements with local businesses and community colleges, so you may just get a discount from your employer or previous college. Admissions & Application

Admissions Requirements

The MSSM is designed for individuals who completed a bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited four-year institution.

Additionally, students must demonstrate one of the following:

  • Undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher or;
  • Five full years of relevant work experience or;
  • 500 minimum score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)

Application Requirements

  • Classes begin: January, March, May, July, August, October
  • Admissions: Rolling
  • Priority application deadlines: Four weeks prior to the start of the first course
  • No application fee
  • Optional GMAT

  • Official undergraduate transcript(s) from all accredited four-year institutions attended after high school
  • Resume detailing professional experience
  • GMAT score (optional based on GPA or work experience)
