The Mount's program is designed for working adults. As a student in the Mount's program you will:

  • Attend convenient classes. The hybrid format allows you to take online classes from home and also meet on weeknights at our convenient Frederick campus, minutes from I-70 and I-270, as well as our main campus in Emmitsburg.
  • Work toward your master's degree. Certified teachers may apply certificate credits to a Master of Education with a concentration in technology facilitation.

Affordability & Financial Aid

Graduate level programs are designed to be taken one course at a time, providing you the flexibility you need to complete the classes at your own pace; with that the program pricing is set by credit hours instead of by the year like traditional undergraduate programs. 

  • $8,250 - Estimated total cost of program, including tuition and fees*.
  • Cost is based on 15 credits (five (5) classes) at $550 per credit.

*Tuition represents 2019-20 rates effective July 1, 2019. Tuition is subject to change without notice.

Financial Aid

Students enrolled on at least half-time basis (6-credits per semester) may qualify for financial aid. You may seek financial assistance through federal and state-funded programs, private loan providers, or deferment of undergraduate loans. The Mount also has a variety of employer tuition remission or reimbursement agreements with local businesses and community colleges, so you may just get a discount from your employer or previous college. Admissions & Application

Admission to the program is rolling, which means we accept applications at any time of the year. Classes for the certificate begin at various times of the year including January, May, June and August. Submitting your application at least six weeks before your expected start date ensures a priority application decision. There is no application fee.

Admissions requirements

The graduate certificate in technology facilitation is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree in any field. Admissions requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution with a minimum 2.75 GPA.

A complete application includes:

  • Free online application.
  • Official undergraduate transcript(s) from all accredited four-year institutions attended after high school.
